Meta Partners With Balenciaga, Prada, And Tom Brown And Launches A Digital Fashion Marketplace

Meta Partners is all set to launch a digital fashion marketplace Meta is soon launching a virtual fashion store, the Avatar store. The company will celebrate the launch with three iconic partner brands, including Prada, Balenciaga and Tom Brown.
During his Instagram live appearance on Friday, Mark Zuckerberg said that the three brands are partnering with Meta to sell fashionable avatars.
Mark Zuckerberg feels proud and is grateful as the brands are joining his company to start fashion in the metaverse.
The features are coming to Facebook, Instagram and Messenger in the next few months. On the other hand, Instagram users are already using the option of virtual avatars.
The fashion items for sale in the avatar store will start from $2.99 to 8.99. Meta is offering more than 100 free outfits for avatars that can be bought in-app purchases on both android and iPhones via any payment method.
The goal is to make the marketplace reachable for creators to design new clothes independently.
Fashion Catwalk into Web3
The fashion industry has been rapidly experimenting in the crypto and web3 space. This week, the Block published the stories about Swiss watches in which the watchmaker Tag Heuer is rolling out to display NFT art; Lacoste is launching its NFTs with a digital fashion startup.
Many fashion brands accept crypto payments via third-party applications, such as Gucci, Farfetch and Balenciaga accepting cryptocurrency payments.
Despite the falling prices of NFT collections in crypto, the virtual fashion industry is in full swing to experiment with Web3.
